When a fob reader “stops working”, the fault is just as often a dropped door, a misaligned maglock armature or a failed closer as it is the electronics. A security installer sees the reader; a door engineer sees the door. We have repaired commercial doors for years — closers, floor springs, pivots, panic hardware — which means one visit diagnoses the whole entrance instead of two trades blaming each other’s kit.

That matters most where access control meets fire safety. Electrically locked doors on escape routes must release reliably — on the green break-glass, on fire alarm activation, on power failure. We install to that standard and, just as importantly, we test for it when repairing systems someone else installed.

Every system we fit is specified around how the building is actually used: staff throughput at shift change, visitor and trade access, out-of-hours deliveries, and what happens when the power goes off. No over-specified kit, no orphaned software.
