Wired systems are the workhorses: a door panel, a power supply, handsets or monitors inside, and cabling in between. Nothing to charge, no signal to drop, decades of service life. If you are refurbishing, already have containment, or the run from door to desk is short, wired is almost always the right answer — and the cheapest to keep running.
Wireless and GSM systems earn their keep where cable can’t sensibly go. A gatehouse a hundred metres from the office. A listed frontage nobody is allowed to chase. A yard entrance answered by whoever is on shift. GSM panels call a phone number rather than a handset — so deliveries get answered even when the building is empty, and the door can be released from a mobile.
Video adds certainty. An audio intercom tells you someone claims to be the courier; a video panel shows you the uniform, the van and the parcel. For premises with lone workers or cash on site, we consider video the default, not the upgrade.
We install and service systems from the established door-entry manufacturers — and because intercoms are half electrics, half door, the same visit can correct the closer, alignment or release that the panel is wired to.
