Retro-Fitting Obsolete Transom Hardware

Both door sets were originally fitted with 190s Jackson transom closers â€” a manufacturer that ceased trading decades ago â€” making direct replacement impossible. Our engineers carried out a detailed assessment and designed a retrofit solution using modern, compliant transom closers that matched the door geometry and operational requirements. This spurious part replacement required precision adaptation to ensure correct alignment, reliable performance, and a professional finish, all without compromising the integrity or appearance of the aluminium door frames.
